| In Level 3 play, the Warriors faced the top
throwing quarterback in the state in Onalaska's Adam Skifton. Rice Lake gave up
5 TD passes to Skifton but answered with 6 touchdown runs by Easton Stone to win
58-36. Level 4 meant the Warriors would face the top rusher in the state in
Notre Dame's Christian Collins. Shifting focus to stopping the run, Easton Stone
was more than ready. From his linebacker spot, Stone recorded 16 total tackles
and the Warriors limited Notre Dame to one rushing touchdown in the 30-15 win.
Whether it has been from his fullback spot on offense or his intimidating
tackling on defense, Stone has gotten better each week and could not be more
deserving of a state title. |
