Regis advanced to the state finals due to their lopsided 43-7 win over Bangor last Friday. The Ramblers scored their first points, with only 51 seconds gone in the first quarter, on a 37 yard touchdown run by senior fullback Jack Weisenberger. The next 47 minutes were simply a countdown to Madison. Weisenberger may be undervalued by the fans but the Regis coaches know his true value. The Ramblers' fullback averages 12.5 yards per carry between the tackles and is a dynamic lead blocker as well. Regis stands poised to bring home the D7 title on Thursday with Weisenberger quietly leading the way.
