Defense Stats (Week 7): 10 tackles
Game Result: St. Croix Central 43, Somerset 14 |
Senior running back Gabe Siler had a great all
around game last Friday in St. Croix Central's 43-14 win over Somerset. Gabe led
the Panthers with 116 yards rushing and 2 TDs and caught 3 passes from QB Tadan
Holzer for 123 yards and 2 more scores, and if that wasn't enough, he led the
team with 10 tackles from his linebacker spot on defense. Wouldn't be a surprise
if Siler helped line the field and filled the water jugs as well. For the
season, Siler has run for 664 yards and 9 TDs as he and Tolzer have teamed to
make SCC a formidable offensive team. His team lead in tackles from his
linebacker spot is also a product of the disruptive play of his team mates, in
particular DT Carson Hinzman. The Panthers have a limited postseason this year,
with a trip to Madison out of the picture, a Regional champion plaque will still
look good to Gabe Siler and the rest of the SCC team. |
