Eight touchdown passes is hard to do in flag football but Memorial's junior QB Bryson Johnson did it in full pads last Friday while being chased all over the field by Chippewa Falls Cardinals defenders intent on getting more than a flag. Johnson was on target for 6 TDs and was the reason Memorial had 51 points on the scoreboard by the end of the third quarter. Chi Hi did not give up though and fought back to tie the game at 51 all with 45 seconds left. In overtime, Johnson's seventh and eighth touchdown passes matched the Cardinals scores but Chippewa converted both two point conversions while the Old Abes could not complete the last two point pass of the game to send it to a third overtime. This young Memorial team is growing up fast and Friday's aerial circus at River Falls between Johnson and Logan Graetz could be one of the most entertaining games of the year.
