TD Passes (Level 2) :: 12yds & 4yds
Game Result: Stanley - Boyd 37, Durand 0 |
Two years ago, the Orioles went 14-0, as they
outlasted Lancaster 21-16 to win the D5 state title. Last year, the Orioles went
11-1 with a semi finals loss to Amherst. This year, Stanley-Boyd is back at it
again, improving their record to 10-1 with a 37-0 shutout of Durand to advance
to Level 3. QB Seth Hause led a balanced attack, completing 10-11 passes for 107
yards and 2 TDs. Hause has provided Stanley-Boyd with a consistent air attack
all season while the running game has been up and down. The junior QB now has
thrown for 1354 yards and 16 TDs on the year and will need to improve on those
stats if the Orioles are to take down a dynamic Arcadia team in Level 3. The
defense has posted 6 shutouts on the season and is led by multi talented LB Zach
Turner. Turner was in on 16 tackles in the Durand game and will be challenged by
Arcadia's speed to match that total sideline to sideline. If Hause and Turner
can lead the Orioles to a Level 3 win, they will most likely find Amherst
waiting for them yet again for the third year in a row. |
