Cumberland (2-0) is the team that no one is talking about now but will be by the end of the season. Coach J. R. Buckley's Beavers are led by the dynamic duo of QB Sam Clark and RB Brady Rose and a host of skilled receivers that makes them a threat to score every time they have the ball. Clark led the way last Friday with 257 yards of total offense despite only playing 3 quarters in the 42-20 win against Grantsburg. Scoring twice on the ground with runs of 56 and 11 yards, Clark added a 35 yard scoring toss to Matt Smith to round out his evening. Cumberland may be the dark horse to win the Heart of the North but they aren't conceding anything to Northwestern and Bloomer yet.
