Rice Lake's elevation to D2 hasn't deterred the Warriors' march to Madison. Decided underdogs to West De Pere's vaunted aerial attack, Rice Lake used a bend, but don't break defense to keep the game close. On offense, the Warriors' answered West De Pere loading the box with their own effective play action pass game. QB Jakob Kunz completed 11-15 passes for 213 yards and 2 TDs. This has to raise concerns for their finals opponent Slinger. The Owls pushed their record to 13-0 with an impressive win over Badger, 35-28. Slinger also beat Badger in Week 2, 35-33. Slinger is a well balanced offensive team with a defense that doesn't give up big plays, but the box scores against Badger have to give Rice Lake some confidence. In game one, Badger rushed 60 times for 372 yards, and in game two, they rushed 54 times for 305 yards. Now, the Owls face a team in Rice Lake, that will run the ball relentlessly until you dare them to throw the ball. Except the Warriors also do that pretty well.

Baldwin-Woodville has been following a pattern of wide open first halves, giving up 28 to Freedom and 16 to Winneconne in their last two playoff games. If the Blackhawks' had not scored 28 in each of those halves, then they might have been eliminated. The halftime adjustments have been impressive as the defense gave up just one score while the offense continued to roll. Against Winneconne, Baldwin-Woodville ran for 366 yards behind Taden Holldorf's 197 yards. QB Gavin Sell threw for 104 and added 136 yards rushing. Racine St. Catherine's used a stellar defense to stop Aquinas 12-6 in their Level 4 victory. In fact, the Angels have only given 65 points all season. On offense, QB Eddie Vinson and RB Imarion Holder lead a St. Cat's team that averages 36 points per game. This game looks to be a low scoring battle. Will Baldwin-Woodville's second half adjustments lead to a championship or will the Angels' defense keep their undefeated season going?

Looking at semifinal scores would seemingly give the edge to Lomira. Lomira rolled to a 36-0 win over Belleville while Grantsburg outlasted Bonduel 34-29. Grantsburg's Level 3 and 4 wins were over conference champions, while Lomira beat second and fourth place conference finishers. Grantsburg's physicality again was on display in the Bonduel win, as RB Ian Burkman pounded out 262 yards rushing while QB Brock Matheny completed 11-16 passes for 185 yards. Lomira will counter with RB Taylor Schaumberg. Schaumberg ran for 224 yards and two scores against Belleville, moving his season rushing total to 1933 yards. No doubt, the key to winning this game is winning the line of scrimmage.
